5 Cold-Press Juice Recipes You Won’t be Able to Resist

By: Jhady Arana September 13th, 2017

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, chances are you’ve noticed the latest juice craze. Everyone from your next-door neighbors to modern celebrities seems to be glugging down juice each morning to help them get their daily dose of vitamins and minerals or to lose weight. Unfortunately, it’s not enough to drink your standard supermarket orange juice. If you really want to join the juice trend, you need the right equipment.

Today, people are all about DIY juicing – and why not? Having your own system at home means that you can mix up a healthy collection of fruits and vegetables whenever you like! Juicing at home helps you make sure that no unpleasant additives sneak into your mixes, and with cold-pressed techniques, you can make sure that you extract all of the beneficial elements of your fruits and vegetables. Another bonus is that cold-press machines don’t produce much heat, meaning more nutrients and enzymes are preserved than what might be typical for a standard blender. This means you get more of the good stuff.

Here, we’ll show you a couple of cold-press recipes you won’t be able to resist, to help you on your path to a healthier future.

1. The Green Juice Twist

This classic green juice recipe is designed to offer an energizing boost to those who love the cleansing benefits of vegetable juices. That being said, if you’re somewhat new to juicing, you’ll be pleased to know that this blend also comes with a touch of sweetness to help encourage balance. After all, it can be tough to get used to vegetable-only juices at first. This mix is rich in bioflavonoids, iron, and vitamins A and C, can make up to 1 liter of juice, and will last for up to three days in the refrigerator.
